About Lessons
Beginners are recommended to take classes 4 times a month. The most important thing is to continue your lessons without interval. Most students quickly forget what they learn in one lesson per month. And the student may have to start over. The important thing is to keep taking lessons in order to master the instrument.
However, you can choose the number of lessons you like because each person has their own lifestyle such as work or school. Also, Students can combine face-to-face and online lessons.
初めての方には月4回のレッスンをお勧めします。次のレッスンまでの間をあまりあけすぎてしまうと、せっかく上達したものが元の状態に戻ってしまい、また一からやり直し…ということにもなりかねません。楽器を早く習得するためには、レッスンを継続していただくことが大切です。
しかしながら、仕事や学校などそれぞれのライフスタイルがありますので、レッスンの回数を各自でお選びいただくことができます。また、対面レッスンとオンラインレッスンを組み合わせることもできます。

You need to buy picks. The cost is $30 to $50. It depends on size.

Can I rent a koto?
箏はレンタルできますか？
Yes, you can rent a koto. However, the number of kotos is limited. Therefore you have to wait if all kotos have been rented out.
